JAZZ THEME #2

This video is the second of two presentations that provides a different approach to the recording of JAZZ THEME #2. This video is intended to support the accompanying score (see download link below). It covers the essence of a musical theme upon which both jazz and jazz musicians can embellish and improvise in order to fully develop its melodic and harmonic characteristics. The video was produced by blending two takes – one in which the guitarist plays a steel-string custom Valley Arts guitar, and a second in which a black nylon 6-string Ibanez EHB bass is played. The alternate version of this video, JAZZ THEME #1, has the steel-string custom Valley Arts guitar assuming the lead, while in this video the black nylon 6-string Ibanez EHB bass plays the lead.
